13 people showed up to Petersfield Golf Club. The course itself was in great shape the fairways were just so beautiful fresh green grass and after a long hot and boiling summer we’ve had this year, The typical English weather has come back to us.
It was tough playing the course and yet we all enjoyed ourselves.
Afterwards we all sat down and had dinner together unfortunately Sean couldn’t stay to eat as he had to pick up his grandchild. Frazer couldn’t stay either he wasn’t feeling well so he pulled out of the game before he had chance to finish his round of golf.
Main course Fish pie with seasonal vegetables it was delicious dish to eat and dessert Fruit crumble with vanilla custard wasn’t the best crumble had more crumble than fruit I’d say.
Vice Captain Luke read out the dob sheet of fines.
Nathan - leaving his cash in his car rather than his wallet.
Stephen - His mobile phone ringing right in the middle of the teeing off on the first tee with his group.
Luke - Eating cake as a main course before golf doing an impersonation of Steve Walsh I love cake.
Ian - Walked past his golf ball on the 10th hole without even noticing. And let’s not forget he got the dates wrong from the last event which was only a month ago.
Luke - Forgotten to bring the trophy with him.
Nathan - Using a pen to write on the nearest the pin sheet instead of using a pencil - plus bringing with him his own lunch and eating it inside the clubhouse.
Stephen - Only getting birdies 4pts to 5pts on almost every hole of the course.
Dave - On the 6th hole not being able to find his ball, but then realising his buggy was on top of it.

All 3 of them had the same score of 33 points and yet it was Nathan who triumphed on count-back and for the second time in a row this year he’s won another Bunkers Cup trophy congrats.

P.S The reason why Nathan isn’t holding the trophy is because last year’s winner forgot to bring the trophy with him that’s me.
Stephen about to achieve a birdie on the Nearest The Pin 3rd hole.
