Bunkers returned to Hartley Whitney after 10 years, there was 18 participants attending our Captain's Cup event.
The course looked great it pushed a lot of us players to the top of our game regardless of the heatwave as we kept ourselves hydrated all day. Fairways were almost bone dry due to the extreme weather conditions however the greens were in excellent conditions, some of the greens were either slow or fast for putting the balls in.
Afterwards we all sat down by the terrace had a couple of cold drinks before dinner.
Food was good, Chicken & mushroom pie as a main dish with crushed potatoes and vegetables. Brest-Choux ring, vanilla Chantilly cream and macerated berries.
Vice Captain Luke read out the list of fines.
