The weather was occasional showers with strong gusting winds and sunshine. Recent rain had revived the fairways and the greens were slick with some very interesting breaks.
15 Bunkers Members plus 3 Guests made up a field of 18. There was a warm welcome back to Founder Member Micky Eagle playing his first event in 17 years as a guest. Graeme Kempson made his first appearance of 2025 following knee surgery.
Dinner was very good. Main course grilled salmon with crushed potatoes and green beans with a delicious cream sauce. Desert was sticky toffee pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Well done to the Surbiton catering team!

Paul - For chipping in from 40 feet TWICE !
Luke - For beating Frazer on the NTP in 2 on the 2nd hole, and not waiting for the bell before playing through on the 14th.
Stephen - Late for tee time, losing his hat in the wind, wearing his hat backwards and talking during others shots, and sitting down for dinner before the captain.
Phil - Spilling crisps on the bar floor and putting up his umbrella, and 4 putting on the 8th.
Chris - Forgetting his putter on the 12th green.
Micky - For trying to shake hands on the 18th green with his hat on.
James - Having a very clunky rattling bag of irons, too noisy!
Captain Dave - For hitting the ladies tee marker on the 3rd hole.
